This Blu-ray player requires two USB connections or one USB connection and one phone connection to get enough power. Your computer won't recognize it if it's not powerful enough. My son installed blue ray player and had problems. The first instruction was to connect both USB ports. When I did that, our Windows 10 PC recognized it immediately.
