The camera turns off when I try to take a picture.
I don't know what the problem with this item is. I can turn on my Canon Rebel t2i with this device in my camera. I can record videos and manage camera settings. But as soon as you let go of the shutter button (try to take a picture), it immediately turns off. I'll try with a different power supply to see if it gets enough power, but for now it's useless as I bought it specifically for long time-lapse photography (multiple photos). The shutter engages and then disengages without returning the mirror to its correct position. Not very happy. Can record videos. Can't take picture.
