Well packaged and arrived in good condition. There is no bad odor or chemical smell that I have noticed with some paper products in the past. They are odorless and are clean white paper plates. I mean who doesn't need paper plates to make their life easier or to use for crafts or in my case my St. Bernard dog literally poops on a 3 plate stack to make clean up easier. Right. I use them on every dog walk to catch something no one wants to put their hands on...especially after a 135 pound dog. A stack of three will handle this very well. (You need to make sure you have a solid stack when you're dealing with a dog, nobody wants a plate of poop falling all over the place! Lol. But seriously, you don't have to.). They don't have a wax finish so you can use them for literally anything. I get 4 points for strength because they are as strong as I expected these plates to be. They are not designed to serve large dishes with sauce. If you need to serve something heavy, just use a few of these. Of course if you have to serve lasagne I would recommend getting a plate of wax as the paper obviously can't hold all the sauce but then again... a huge box of the perfect everyday plate.
