These shirts run small, so order one size larger. They looked big but shrunk a bit after the first cold warm to medium dry wash. Also, these shirts are fantastic - nice material and vibrant colors. Actually, I was afraid that the colors would blur when washing, but that didn't happen. There is also no fading. My son doesn't have an ID tag on his back. I plan on getting a few more for the iron on vinyl. My 4 year old wears XS, size 5. XS fits children 39-45 inches tall and weighing 35-43 pounds. My son would be better. with the next size up, but it should help us get through spring.
