Review on Vacuum cleaner Thomas TWIN T1 Aquafilter, blue/white by Wiktor ygado ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Best thing for the money, glad I did it.

Oh my god, finally a clean floor! Sorry) Neither a mop, nor a rag, nor a brush, I could not completely wash my 40-year-old linoleum. Thomas dealt with it flying. I checked it with a dry cloth, a damp cloth, bare feet, my own booty - CLEAN. IMPORTANT. Before wet cleaning, it always makes sense to do dry. To collect large particles of dirt, pet hair, that's all - in a wide nozzle. So that when wet they do not drag along the wet floor, do not smear and do not clog the narrow nozzle. WASHING THE HOSE AND TUBE after cleaning is not necessary. It is necessary to pour a couple of liters of clean warm water into the wet cleaning tank, let Thomas this water (make sure Thomas is ready for wet cleaning and keep an eye on the filling of the internal tank) - and leave it to idle for a couple of minutes. Voila - the tube and hose are clean and dry, the inlet in the lid is washed, you just have to drain the dirty water and rinse the tanks and filters. Oh, be aware that Thomas will require a lot of storage space for himself and accessories. Especially freshly washed and dried. This is the only thing that pisses me off, because I don’t have a place to store such an important unit. But maybe I will still make repairs, and then I will definitely allocate a cozy nook for him with shelves for the reservoir, filters and nozzles. Furniture and mattresses can be washed with them, but then they need to be dried. Of course, it cannot be compared with professional extractors, but in principle it is made for something else. For me, he is the best.

Pros
  • AAAA! ALL! I use it, of course, less than a month, but almost every day, so I have something to tell. Before Thomas, I had an old Vitek, bought by chance at a promotion in Lenta - in fact, that's how I found out about vacuum cleaners with aqua filters. And even then I liked the feeling of clean air after work. But the time has come to change the vacuum cleaner, and Thomas defeated Vitka while still preparing for cleaning. 1. Thomas is comfortable and agile. The only thing is that my corridors are too narrow for him, so he still knocks on the jambs. He normally follows me wherever I go, he also rides along his cord. 2. Thomas washing. He knows how not only to collect dirt, but also to wash the floor. The suction power is impressive. Woven rugs are ed up. Linoleum lifts. 3. During operation, the air is clean. No, not like that - CLEAN! The filter system is super cool. At home, asthmatics, they immediately noticed that the air was different. 3. After work - a persistent feeling of PURITY that you want to maintain.
Cons
  • 1. HEPA filter. The instructions show that it must be inserted into a special groove with a click. Sooooo tight, it takes a lot of force to apply. In my opinion, this should not be the case. 2. Filter for wet cleaning, installed on the grate. The instructions also show that it should make a click. But there is physically nothing to click. No matter how hard I tried to find some grooves, recesses, latches - nothing like that. A plastic one is placed on top of the grate to do with a filter and pressed down by the outlet of the hose - that's all. 3. Apparent complexity of maintenance. For dry cleaning one set of bells and whistles, for wet cleaning - another, plus final cleaning. But once you figure it all out, it's fine. 4. It's a pity that the kit did not include a nozzle for damp cleaning furniture, I had to buy it separately.
