My 3 year old grandson is learning to swim. Due to his weight of 70 pounds, I was very concerned about how we could keep him safe in the backyard pool without resorting to bulky adult life jackets. (Most age-appropriate devices have a maximum load of 50 pounds). I bought a Jr Swim Jogger and am very happy with it. We also pair him with swimmers just because he is very young and needs to learn to control his body and not drink water. After just a few rides around the pool with my hands, he quickly gained the confidence to row on his own. (Of course with me next to him).
