Bought for a 4 year old granddaughter and it really works, she just wears that and a float on her arm and she can stay afloat in the pool. The vest we had was too bulky. That strap thing works great! Love it!

My 4 and 5 year olds took swimming lessons but our pool is very deep and I can relax and have more fun with the added security of this belt on them. I love that it gives them more mobility than a life jacket and they need to use their swimming skills, but it gives young swimmers a measure of security and peace of mind.

My daughter is 7 and has spina bifida. She had outgrown her puddle jumper and was recommended as a replacement. She used it for the first time yesterday.
