It really works.

Bought for a 4 year old granddaughter and it really works, she just wears that and a float on her arm and she can stay afloat in the pool. The vest we had was too bulky. That strap thing works great! Love it!

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • There are nuances

Great for beginner swimmers

My 4 and 5 year olds took swimming lessons but our pool is very deep and I can relax and have more fun with the added security of this belt on them. I love that it gives them more mobility than a life jacket and they need to use their swimming skills, but it gives young swimmers a measure of security and peace of mind.

Great for a large child with special needs

My daughter is 7 and has spina bifida. She had outgrown her puddle jumper and was recommended as a replacement. She used it for the first time yesterday. It was a bit scary at first about this freedom in the water, but after 30 minutes she was swimming around the whole pool! She walked in and talked about how much she loved him!

  • Neat job

Rash when used in chlorinated water

This seems like a good product but after 3 uses in the pool we found it didn't work for our little one. She doesn't get irritated easily, but while wearing it all the time, she developed a rash under her armpits that ran down her sides. If he moves too much (and he does), she gets a rash on her upper abdomen. Yes, she was in a chlorinated pool, but she was using different products. She never had a rash unless she used this product. We have NOT tested in other bodies of water. Stop using. Good…

Peace of mind with water sports

My 3 year old grandson is learning to swim. Due to his weight of 70 pounds, I was very concerned about how we could keep him safe in the backyard pool without resorting to bulky adult life jackets. (Most age-appropriate devices have a maximum load of 50 pounds). I bought a Jr Swim Jogger and am very happy with it. We also pair him with swimmers just because he is very young and needs to learn to control his body and not drink water. After just a few rides around the pool with my hands, he…

I really love this Aqua Jogger Junior for my kids

I really like this Aqua Jogger Junior for my kids. They are 6 and 4 and 35-42 pounds. The straps are adjustable and secure. I decided to buy these harnesses for my kids to use when we go to the camp pool. This is the life belt that my kids used during their swimming lessons and after seeing how it worked and how safe my kids are I decided to buy one for my personal use. These straps allow them to stay upright while swimming or keep them afloat whether they are lying on their stomachs or on…

TERRIBLE QUALITY Exerciser

We bought the Junior Aqua Jogger for our 9 year old daughter. It was purchased for my daughter's birthday in mid-May 2019 and used for the first time over Memorial Day weekend. It was used the following weekend and again on the weekend of June 22nd. That Saturday, the stitching holding the buckle came undone. It was too late to return it, so we chalked it up as a bad job and bought a second Aquajogger. The SECOND water jogger's seams came undone before my daughter even stepped in the water. My…

Much better than a puddle jumper

After seeing a friend's 4 year old kid in one of them in our pool I got curious. I was told that they use it to give swimming lessons to children and teach them how to balance in the water. So I picked it up and ordered it. My daughter (also 4 years old) wore sweaters but they stretched over time. I love how she sits lower on her torso and her arms are free to move and play. It also allows her to dive underwater (on purpose, not accidentally) to get swim rings and explore with her goggles…
