This is in my home office next to my computer. It has a good sound and of course it is easy to connect to the phone. The built-in radio is useful when needed. The problem is that I have to keep Bluetooth on in my phone as Sync in my car uses Bluetooth for music, podcasts and also 911 in case of an accident. Since the phone has BT on, the audio part (not the phone part) of the phone connects to iHome as soon as I turn off the car in the garage. I want to watch a video somewhere in the house or listen to music on my phone, the sound comes from the iPhone I have at the office. Then I have to turn off BT on my phone. Next time I get in the car I'll have to remember to turn BT back on. And even if I do, I have to wait for sync to boot up and be ready for that connection. So far the only solution I've found is to detach this device from the phone until I need it again. So I lowered my rating from 5 to 3 stars.
