Review on πŸ₯„ RSVP International Stainless Steel Spice Measuring Spoons - Set of 6: 1/8 tsp to 1 Tbsp for Easy Baking or Cooking, Nesting & Dishwasher Safe by Scott Welch

NOT RECOMMENDED! - 1/4 teaspoon is VERY INACCURATE. Other spoons are inaccurate. The top holes are too small.

My wife needed a set of measuring spoons that fit our spice jars to replace our old trusty round Oneida measuring spoons which still measure well but don't fit spice jars. We purchased these RSVP International Endurance Stainless Steel Spice Scoops based on a review of Serious Eats Scoops. After this experience, I'm wondering if I can trust a Serious Eats review again. 1/4 teaspoon is so inaccurate as to be useless. Looking at the 1/4 teaspoon measure, I figured it out as soon as I started measuring the ingredients. The crowd is too small and you can easily see it. I pulled out a bowl of sugar and a ruler to line up the measuring spoons. When I used the RSVP spoon to measure two 1/8 teaspoons into a 1/4 inch spoon, the 1/4 inch spoon overflowed as soon as I started adding the second 1/8 teaspoon. Same thing happened when I compared 1/4 teaspoon to another 1/4 teaspoon in my kitchen. Also, the holes in the handles are too small to fit the small 3 meter command wire hooks we have on our closet door. I used a garage vise to compress the hooks to fit these spoons. Also, we bought this set because we thought the tablespoon in this RSVP set would fit my wife's spice jars, but they don't. We replaced those RSVP scoops with the Cuisipro set. The Cuisipro set was the top choice in the last two Cook's Illustrated Scoop reviews (America's Test Kitchen and Cook's Country). We like the Cuisipro set much better.
