Review on 🏡 Greenleaf Corona Dollhouse Orchid 9301G: Perfect Miniature Replica for Orchid Enthusiasts by John Galbraith

If you spend a lot of time (we're talking weeks here) working on it, you'll end up with a cute little dollhouse. It's definitely not something to put together on Christmas Eve, if you're mildly disappointed it will send you over the edge. The directions aren't the clearest, and there was a decent amount of guesswork involved in the diagrams showing which parts have the smallest fuzzy writing I've ever seen. Getting all the pieces out is evening work, and if you manage to get all the tiles and scrolls out without breaking any of them, then you're some kind of witch. I tried so hard to be careful but I ended up with so many broken and splintered that I won't even use them. Less color! I had to sand every detail because none of them have even edges. I painted several coats to get an even coat as this wood takes paint easily and the texture and color will vary from one piece to another. My main problem was the cracks in the walls on the side of the house. I personally don't like the way it looks and I've spent time filling and smoothing it out so it doesn't stand out as much. Basically what I'm saying is that if you want it to look as good as the photos, it will take a lot longer than you think. I would not recommend this project for young children due to the boredom and fragility. some parts can be. I wouldn't recommend it to those short on time either. I'm giving myself 8 months to work on this for my niece's birthday, it gives me an opportunity to procrastinate if I'm frustrated with it. If you have the time and patience, this is a good base to work with. but don't expect it to end the same as the box. Since I wanted to change the look and add something to make it look like my niece's house, I was able to improvise and solve some problems. Be prepared to buy alternative roofing and lots of wood glue if you're obsessed with getting the overall finish.
