I usually take my time before examining complex items such as large electronics. Now that I've owned this microwave for almost two years, I'm ready to share my opinion. I am sure you will love it! Why not? I'm a very logical person and I like the logically designed things I buy. The first. good things about this product. This microwave is quieter than most. My previous Panasonic, which died about 20 years later, could be heard from my bedroom on the opposite side of the house with the door closed. This one is a lot less annoying in that regard. Cooks well too. Most frozen meals can be prepared within the packing time and come out great. My Panasonic was too powerful and I had to reduce the recommended time by about 25%. The interior is quirky, medium gray, but easy to clean. The device beeps about 5 times when you exit if you don't open the door and then stops immediately. Where it loses a star for me is in the logic of operation. I have a button time/cook time for 1, 2 and 3 minutes and 30 seconds if you just press START. I'd be happy if that logic of 4 to 10 minutes stayed because those numbers (zero instead of 10) are already there. Many frozen meals require 4 minutes. It would be nice to just press '4' instead of finding the 'Time Cook' button, then pressing 4-0-0 and then 'Start'. One button instead of five, out of competition. You also cannot add these one-tap buttons to the current time, except for the 30-second start button. The other thing that really annoys me is that you can't set the time to cook a bit later like you usually cook on the stove and you want the microwave to queue up to cook veggies for a couple, for example. It just doesn't work because if you set the time and don't start it, the timer will reset after about a minute. On the other hand, if you're cooking something and decide to stop before the timer runs out, as you often do with popcorn, the time is forever unless you put it out. So if you get up the next morning and press the button, it won't work because there's still time on it. You did it the other way around: it should keep the time you set forever, but reset the time remaining when you stopped it. See? Logical. If you can live with those two annoyances, then this is a great microwave.
