Same performance as my old Kenmore microwave but seems to be more powerful. Cooks more evenly and in less time.

There is electricity, the light is on, the display works. It won't heat food, makes short circuit noises, and then throws an "E-5" error code before dying. Cannot return to Revain as he died 2 months after the return window. Have to ask the manufacturer.

I've usually had good luck with this brand but like everything else it seems to be going downhill pretty quickly. The construction feels cheap in contrast to previous Faberware products. how much we paid for it, I'd rather buy a Samsung for about the same price. However, no failures at the time of review beyond 2 months.

I will update this review over time but this bodes VERY badly for my future with this microwave. It may have only been "vintage" (but certainly "microwavable", it lived a few years in my last microwave as a carousel replacement) from a thrift store, but it makes me very nervous about my other similar old (or totally unknown) age) dishes to use with this microwave. Great looking device with a small footprint. The touch technology is great and the warm-up feature is fantastic. No fuss, check during warm up. The capacity is slightly smaller than my old oven. If I want to cook in a 9 x 11 casserole dish, I have to remove the turntable ring and rotate the dish by hand. It's a small thing and I can live with that.
