Medium quality and not as sharp as it should be

you fit. Only for edge alignment and nothing else. Remove material that is not an edge for some reason, this may be necessary. Also, these edge smoothers don't immediately feel as sharp as the other styles. New finished cutting tools of this type need to be razor sharp, especially considering what the tool is intended for. They don't cut mustard in my opinion and make it difficult to get a nice clean, even bevel in one pass. clean lines almost never come out when you have to do more than one pass. Additionally, these bevels almost always fail to remove some material at the very end of the cut on the far edge. I know you can flip it over and start at that edge to gut that cleaner, but a properly sharpened tool will save you that extra step. I don't find it as annoying as I do, but I'm just someone who likes to do my own leatherwork whenever possible, and every time I have to start a bevel cut all over again it's definitely going to be an imperfect pass. does it still work? Yes, but it's annoying when you're in the "slightly perfectionist" category, clean lines almost never come out, if you need to do more than one pass. Also, these bevels almost always do not remove material at the very end of the cut on the removed edge. I know you can flip it over and start at that edge to gut that cleaner, but a properly sharpened tool will eliminate that extra step. Maybe a professional leatherworker doesn't find it as annoying as I do, but I'm just someone who likes to do my own leatherwork whenever possible, and every time I have to restart a bevel cut it's definitely going to be an imperfect pass . is he still working Yes, but it sucks if you're in the "slight perfectionist" category: clean lines almost never come out when you have to do more than one pass. also, these bevels almost always don't remove a little material at the very end of the cut on the far edge. Not very sharp, but for the price, they work as expected. Better than some other cheaper tools.
