I wish I had bought this sealing strip many years ago. But I'm stupid. Instead, I bought another and then bought another. None of these others provided an airtight seal like this. And it only took about two minutes to install. I didn't even have to take the door off its hinges. Simply open the door fully and insert the strip into the slots already built into the bottom of the door. It was so easy that I now feel stupid for wasting my time and money on those other horrible fillings that didn't fit well and didn't last long. My favorite feature is that it's made out of vinyl rather than hard plastic. If you live in Alaska, the temperature here can drop to 50 degrees below zero. And most plastics become very hard and brittle when cold. If you live in a cold area and have built-in vents under your door, I recommend this type of vinyl caulking tape (or silicone if you can find it with such an airtight design).
