#1) The case is flimsy and flimsy, in warm weather it is so thin and soft that the elements of the kit will not hold up, the hinges will likely fail after a short time. 2) The kit does not include a cymbal. The kit includes a spike to determine the size of the hole. This isn't heaven. The tool cannot process tire rubber or otherwise wear it out. I believe this is an attempt not to damage the nylon or steel straps. A pack provides a better, more even bonding surface, but a spike is less likely to damage the straps. #3) A small container of petroleum jelly is included and it is recommended that you use a "pack" with it. This is dangerous. There should be something in the kit to chemically cure the worms in place, not to lubricate the hole they enter. Using a special "rubber glue" for tires not only serves as a lubricant, but also helps seal the hole and thus protect the belts from the elements. This is the main disadvantage of this kit. I would not recommend the methods outlined in the guide as safe. also as a temporary solution. Disappointing product from ARB. I'm surprised they haven't been sued.
