This is a very large cable lock. However, the cable only makes up half of the total circumference, the rest is the flexible outer sleeve. To be honest I've read enough reviews and watched enough videos to know that cable locks won't help thieves steal your stuff so I seriously considered sending it back. However, I think if my scooter has enough locking mechanisms that it's not worth the time and effort, it was worth the cost. In addition to the cable lock, I also use an alarm disc lock and a New York Fahgettaboudit U-lock chain with a padlock. plus a plain brown tarp to throw over it. But that's only when I park it at home. When I go out, I don't take this cable lock with me; it is too bulky for how little it alone prevents theft. But it's not a bad layer of protection for the home.
