Review on 🌡️ ThermoPro TP08S: Ultimate Wireless Digital Meat Thermometer for Grilling, Smoking, BBQ, and Oven - Dual Probe Kitchen Cooking Food Thermometer by Kelsey Hoss

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A colleague recommended using a meat thermometer to monitor the internal temperature.

I purchased a ThermoPro TP08 digital kitchen thermometer with wireless remote control and two sensors for a smoker BBQ grill to monitor the cooking of a brisket I cooked on 03/09/16. I cooked brisket so we could celebrate my father-in-law's birthday. I've never been able to cook a brisket without being tough and dry. A colleague recommended using a meat thermometer to monitor the internal temperature of the meat. He recommended another brand that only controlled the temperature of the meat and had to be controlled in the grill pit. I was looking for digital thermometers at Revain and came across your product. I liked the fact that I could control the internal temperature of the meat as well as the internal temperature of the grill. Being able to control the internal temperature of the grill was a huge benefit for me, especially as I don't have thermometers on my grill. I ordered your first part last week and received it on Friday 3/8/16. I unpacked the thermometer and familiarized myself with its operation. On Saturday morning I lit a BBQ at 4:30 and started smoking my chest at 5:30. I stuck one meat probe into the chest and put the other in the grill hole. I set up a temperature alarm to warn me when the internal temperature of the meat reaches 165F. Let me just say that I was very impressed with how easy the Thermopro TP08 was to use. I watched the entire cooking process from inside the house about 50 feet from the pit. I was able to prepare other dishes served with brisket. When smoking brisket, the key is a low, constant temperature of 200-250 F for 7-8 hours. Thanks to the wireless monitoring capabilities, I was able to tell when the temp in the grill pit got too high, 300F as the wood caught fire. That was a big plus because I was able to react to wood fires and regain control of the temperature. Eight hours later I have successfully cooked the best brisket I have ever cooked. I get compliments from everyone on how tender the brisket turned out. Needless to say, the ThermoPro TP08 met and exceeded all of my expectations. I am attaching photos of the TP08 taken at 9:00am observing the cooking process. I give this product a 10 out of 10 for ease of use, portability and convenience. All I can say is thank you, thank you, thank you. Sincerely, Joe
