Review on 💪 High Power Wireless-N 600Mw Pro USB Adapter - Amped UA600EX by Colin Watkins

I bought this adapter to receive the signal of our wireless router from one cabin to another log cabin at a distance of 15-20 meters. Our router is in the attic of a shack with a metal roof. The signal was projected strong enough to reach the outside of another building, but not strong enough to penetrate the massive block walls. I considered several options (bridge, access point, etc., even tried a portable adapter) but settled on this adapter with an all-weather outdoor antenna. Since the laptop we wanted to connect is on a desk in a fixed location anyway, the idea of running a cable wasn't a big deal. Setting up this adapter was a breeze! I just booted up the CD and plugged it in. I didn't have to download any other drivers or uninstall/disable the software of our other portable adapter I mentioned. The antenna immediately picked up the signal from our router without trying to find a specific position for it. Therefore, we were able to install the antenna and route the cable where it was convenient for us. We now have a strong five lane lane for the other cab and it indicates other signals nearby. Note: The cable that comes with this device has two USB connectors. One is the main port and the other (optional) can be plugged into a second USB port to "boost" performance. We chose to only use the main connection and it suits us. Time will tell how this product performs but we are very satisfied. If anything changes I will update this review with my findings.
