Product delivered as expected. I've only used it a little so far, but here's my take. Excellent build quality. Smooth focus and aperture rings. clear images. Like a snap-on lens cap. Minimal barrel distortion at the frame edges. How could it be better. Communicate with the camera. Just a bit. This lens is similar to the lensless one in that the camera understands what's attached to it. So the camera (I have a Sony a6500) knows neither the focal length nor the aperture. I knew it was manual focus and aperture. No doubt these features help keep the price down, but I'm used to seeing f in the viewfinder. You can just look at the side of the lens. No problem. The lens hood rattles. A little piece of Gaffer fixed it. In general. I take optical quality and cheapness and I am satisfied with the purchase.
