I bought these two years ago and ended up buying some new shells to fit some old cartridges. My god, it's so hard to see where to put the pen. The mirror does absolutely nothing but makes it difficult to read. I used a flashlight to find a place to put the pin. I'll put a white or red dot on the pin dots to help. If it doesn't work, it goes in the trash and I buy another one that actually works. After 20 minutes one of the cartridges was half-aligned and the sound was fine.
