I ordered 9007's for my old ranger and they work great. The installation would be very quick if I had a better understanding of how they work, but the instructions are not very detailed. fit in a certain direction, so I figured it would be pretty straight forward. Install and done, right? Not so quick and easy. After installation, I was amazed at their brightness, but when I turned on the bright light, it wasn't as bright as in the dim light. After reading a bit on the internet I found that the high/low beam depends on the orientation of the LEDs (there is a top and bottom). Now I have another problem. They only fit in a certain direction and that direction gives me high beam when I switch to low beam. The instructions say it can be rotated, but that's only after installation, which doesn't speak for itself. After installing it, I grabbed it with needle nose pliers and turned it the right way. It all sounds complicated, but it isn't at all. I just didn't know what I was doing so if others have the same problem know you can just install the light and when the high/low beams toggle just twist the bulb. If I had to do it again it would take less than 15 minutes from start to finish. After all, they are very important. The old headlights were a dull yellow, the new ones a very bright, long-range white light. I am very happy with them. I've included before and after photos as well as a photo after replacing the first bulb. Hope this helps someone even easier!
