Works well. You can stick three to four 22 gauge wires in each slot and if you don't pull hard they'll stay in, but of course it's better to only use one wire per slot. The spring tension is really strong for such a small device. If you put it on it will stab your finger pretty hard if it gets in the way. They have more spring power than the clear ones, although I like the clear ones because they're flat at the bottom and you can tape them with styrofoam tape if you're assembling a small project in a box that doesn't stress the wires. to pull them out as the transparent ones don't hold them as tight, but both are great for building a project that easily connects a lot of wires, especially power and ground.
