Review on Teakhaus Wooden Cutting Board - Large Rectangle Carving Board (24 x 18 x 1.5 Inch) - High-Quality and Sustainable by Herb Guevara

Like many others I bought this because of ATK. This has been on my wish list for a long time and I've decided to treat myself to it. First mistake for me: The thing is huge. Up to this point I've been using the old ATK winner Totally Bamboo Congo (it's starting to wear out a bit after a few years of almost daily use). It smelled right out of the box! I couldn't get rid of the smell of stains from my nose. Others have mentioned the dyeing - it was only on the first wash before storage that it leached the stain on all my towels that I used to dry. And then there were fragments. I don't know if this is meant to be common, but I want my board to plug in and work. I'm willing to do maintenance, so my current board got to this point, but I don't think I need to grind a $100 board. Now I'm lost in a sea of reviews looking for something decent in the size range of my old Congo. I may have to wait a few more years for ATK to update this review as it is clearly based on an older version of this product.
