Review on KYB 565103 MonoMax Gas Shock by James Townsend

KYB 565103 MonoMax Gas Shocks Fits a 2006 Chevy 1500 4WD Avalanche. So far I like the way they drive. They are tougher than OEM and I love it. I've adjusted my speed due to some nasty speed bumps and can expect them to be adjusted. I installed it myself and it turned out to be more difficult than I expected but doable with decent tools. I used a ratchet and a regular ratchet with extensions. Access to the top bracket is difficult. My truck didn't jack up, but I was able to change the rear shocks without jacking up the truck. The only thing worrying is the rubber screen. This label is located near the tire so anything flying into the wheel arch could potentially damage the coating. The time will show. Excellent value for money when they last.
