Review on Bike Lift Hoist Garage Storage by Zane Myers

Based on another review I bought this bike lift to lift a 13.5ft kayak. It worked. The cord seems a bit flimsy to trust over long periods of time to hold a heavy kayak alone so I would suggest using other restraints to help with the load once it's lifted. The cord will probably take a lot of pressure on its own, but I didn't risk it. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the cable itself was difficult to thread through a couple of holes on the brackets. I had to drill one of them a little more to get the cable through. It was a real headache trying to set everything up and the only thing holding you back were the 2 stupid holes which were really small.
