I have two children, a four-year-old and a six-year-old. My six year old loved it and was able to figure it out. My four year old son had some issues but I guess he'll get them soon enough. When pressed, a pleasant squeak is heard. It's quite a tough workout, so don't do it too often. But I hope it helps at their core.
