Tool worked for what I needed it for. It was a one time job so I looked for the cheapest tool. I believe it's listed as a camshaft retainer, so I didn't use the tool for its 'intended' purpose. Used to hold the crankshaft on the 4Runner when the bolt is torqued to 190 ft-lbs. Used once. The tip of the pendulum is bent. The tool was placed so that the swing arm was under tension. To avoid damaging the tool, the retaining pins should be loaded as close to the face of the tool as possible. In my case, the pulley misalignment didn't allow me to keep the tool flat on the bushing surface. Thus the tips of the pins took the full load (about 1 inch from the surface of the tool). Applying a load at the very end of the pins resulted in a high moment, causing the pendulum to deform (twist) that way.
