I don't know how people bend this tool. I used it to remove the harmonic balancer from a Chevy Cruze. I used a socket wrench and a very long pipe to loosen the bolt and it holds up well. Good for the price.

The price was attractive and I needed a replacement for my old curved product I was working with. While it's not the manufacturer's fault, it's already bent and useless, but they just aren't designed for very high torque applications. All in all an amazing price for what you get. Just use it as it's meant to be and it won't bend.

Tool worked for what I needed it for. It was a one time job so I looked for the cheapest tool. I believe it's listed as a camshaft retainer, so I didn't use the tool for its 'intended' purpose. Used to hold the crankshaft on the 4Runner when the bolt is torqued to 190 ft-lbs. Used once. The tip of the pendulum is bent. The tool was placed so that the swing arm was under tension. I don't often write reviews but I think this product deserves recognition. I almost didn't buy this remedy based on some negative reviews I read. First, some say the grip is pretty flimsy. And bend? The handle is actually very powerful and longer than I expected. It easily outperformed my breaker. In fact, the stubborn cam bolt I was dealing with required a pick-up tube on my breaker, and this tool still gave plenty of leverage. Bending this handle is applying force in the wrong direction…
