I play drums in a church service group, so I use them to wrap the ends of my drumsticks to keep them from flying out of my hands. They also provide a small amount of dampening against strong vibrations. I cut them in half because they are too long for fairly skinny clubs and that makes them very economical! When using them for this purpose, you need to start at the end of the stick with the pointed end of each cut (where the glue patch is) and start wrapping. At the other end, you need to cut a cone with scissors so that the end is a little straight, and then wrap it with electrical tape. These wraps last with me until my sticks are worn out. This is my second purchase of this product and let me tell you that they are VERY durable with a great non-slip and comfortable grip. This cape saved me from having to wear drumming gloves which can get hot and sweaty, and they look cool too, depending on the color you choose. I think they would be great for a tennis racket too! I will definitely buy these again!
