Review on Intel Core i7-8700K: Unleash the Power of 6 Cores, Turbo Boost up to 4.7GHz – Perfect for LGA1151 300 Series Desktops! by Micha Kaczmarczyk ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I didnt expect the quality to be so high.

With the cooling of Dark Rock 4, the temperature in LinX did not rise above 76 degrees, in non-synthetic tests 62-67C. If compared with analogues of the 6.7 generation, then the performance increase will be noticeable, compared to the 8700 it will be about 10-15%. But there are 6 cores against 8. Therefore, for an upgrade from scratch or old hardware, a good option. For an upgrade of the previous generation is doubtful. AMD, in principle, did not consider due to hemorrhoids with memory, heating, etc. fees for greed.

Pros
  • Core i7-9700: Finally 8 full cores. Solder instead of paste, which has a good effect on temperature indicators.
Cons
  • No.
