Note that the supplied charging cable is the wrong type
Right out of the box I noticed that the cable supplied is a micro USB cable but the scale requires USB C. Luckily I have 2 USB C orders cables to replace my phone. It would be inconvenient if you didn't have the right cable. I went to use the scale and it said it needed to be charged so I plugged in the USB charger, the display was just dashes and it WAS NOT WORKING WHILE CHARGING.
