I love big cubes but I mainly bought this set of spherical and diamond ice cube molds. So imagine my disappointment when none of them worked as advertised. I seriously tried for 2 weeks to get the results advertised in some reviews. I couldn't seal the sphere and diamond shape well, and the water leaked out, causing deformed ice and a freezer mess. The large cube shape and hexagonal ice shape, on the other hand, are quite decent, with the hexagonal shape being difficult to move after filling with water. Lids for both are a good idea if they are no larger than the bowls themselves. I am returning this set and will try again with a different seller. Note: This residue, which some complain about after the ice is loosened, is the result of water impurities being displaced from the top to the bottom as the water freezes.
