Review on ๐Ÿ”ข Pack of 12 Jack Richeson Cardboard Weaving Looms, Gray, 6 x 10 x 1/8 Inches - SKU 787903 by Wendy Rodriguez

Requires some preliminary work before first use.

Cardboard loom has its advantages and disadvantages. Because it's cardboard, it can bend if you're not careful. Then it's useless. The teeth can also break if you try to thread yarn through them. It's also quite cumbersome because you have to break out any cardboard teeth that are still attached before using it for the first time. Since the teeth are very close together, it is difficult for children to thread the starting yarn. This must be done by an adult. The advantages are that it is cheaper than wooden looms of the same size. They also have more teeth that are closely spaced than a similarly sized wooden loom. This gives you a tighter and wider weave. If the child loses or bends it, it is easy to replace. I have benefited a lot from them. We have done an excellent job. I'm not sure I would buy them again. If you're unsure about weaving becoming a permanent addition to your curriculum, this is an inexpensive way to give it a try. But as said, it takes a lot of prep work to get the board ready for weaving.

Pros
  • Country of origin: China
Cons
