Full of blisters and very smelly.

It arrived with a smell of petroleum products (outgassing) and full of large bubbles. I bought it after reading all the good reviews here and on FB. I watched a video about it before I bought it. I am not a beginner artist. Researching blisters and smells I found advice on the manufacturer's website and FB on how to put a plate between two sheets of carbon paper overnight, which I did. It hasn't improved much and there are still dents on the surface, which would render it unusable. Someone said

Such a fun creative tool

I've seen countless papermaking videos and online galleries full of gel printed projects. I really wanted one so I got this one and found it so exciting! I mostly use mine with acrylic and brier. Sometimes I put stencils on a painted press and paint a different color on them before printing them onto paper. The nice thing is that the press is very easy to clean with water and a damp cloth. The gel press naturally sticks to it a bit. This means that in most cases there will be some ink left on…

Fantastic gel sheet, affordable and works just as well as a well known brand.

I accidentally ordered this Gell plate while trying to order a Gelli plate. It feels just like my branded Gelli cymbal and surprisingly just as good. It was incredible value for money! I will buy more of these products. Also, I've seen some people have blisters in the plate, I bought Gelli's Signature Palate and it had the same blisters, use the plate, the blisters are only superficial and go away with a little pressure. I was able to use and enjoy it with the same ease. I recommend this…
