Review on Gel Press 10802 Plate X10 by Karla Richter

It arrived with a smell of petroleum products (outgassing) and full of large bubbles. I bought it after reading all the good reviews here and on FB. I watched a video about it before I bought it. I am not a beginner artist. Researching blisters and smells I found advice on the manufacturer's website and FB on how to put a plate between two sheets of carbon paper overnight, which I did. It hasn't improved much and there are still dents on the surface, which would render it unusable. Someone said it happened with a bulk order for a class and they were told the extreme heat could have damaged the plates. It was sent to me in over 100 degrees and I don't need to know that it can't be shipped in these conditions. Very disappointed with this product.
