Empire Cut production with an old favorite.

I have an Imperia pasta machine that was given to my parents in the late 1960's and which I used regularly when I inherited it in the 1980's. It's a workhorse so I bought a car of the same make and model for my brother. Delivery was prompt and I made a spaghetti dinner out of it that evening to test the rollers and slicers before giving them to him. Observations: The machine worked flawlessly with my favorite pasta recipe and perfectly rolled sheets with adjustable thickness. works well. The pasta sheets were also cut perfectly, giving a full cut of all the pasta we rolled out, so no complaints. I noticed that the new car was a bit lighter than my original and I quickly understood why. There are quite a few plastic parts installed in the car that are not in mine. I think that these parts will eventually break with prolonged use. Overall I was happy with the performance but disappointed with the build.
