I like these shorts a lot, especially for the built in compression shorts and phone pocket. I don't have to worry about wearing anything underneath or about my phone bouncing around or sliding out. That said, while I like having two additional pockets, I wish that at least one of them had a zipper. If I need to carry an ID, money and/or credit card while running, I like the added security of a zipper to make sure they don't slip out. For me, I'll use these in the gym where the chance of something falling out and going unnoticed is lower.
