Inexpensive but short-lived
Replacement brush heads for Oral B electric toothbrushes from other manufacturers. They're significantly cheaper than Oral-B heads and last a while. Users are strongly recommended to replace the nozzles every 3 months; however, each of these heads will wear out after about 3 weeks. I did an autopsy on one of them to see why it failed so quickly and found that the vibrating plastic mechanism was simply being deformed by the soft plastic. But: you get a lot of heads for a low price, and it's probably an acceptable deal!

Each toothbrush head has different bristles in different positions in terms of length and stiffness. Each type of bristle fulfills its function in the right position.
