The project I bought this for was probably a lot bigger than this drill was intended for. It works great in those small projects or as a last resort when you can't afford a full-size router. This rounding makes for a nice smooth edge that doesn't chip like plywood and I'm very happy with the results. It's much more difficult to get an evenly rounded edge with a wood rasp. However, this bit is not designed for larger projects such as B. the 46" round plywood countertop I bought this bit for. The end of the project (I've been told this is due to the glue used to make the plywood) so the countertop needs to be sanded down after routing to smooth the edges (and burn marks). For projects like mine would I do that? We recommend purchasing a full size router, but for smaller wood projects that are easier to cut, this accessory is a must have in your Dremel kit. Still, I'm happy with the result: a very nice, smooth, rounded edge.
