Review on 🌳 Large Mopani Wood by Zoo Med Laboratories, 16-18 Inches by Sara White

This is my second item from Zoo Med. This large piece fits a new 29 liter aquarium. My first piece was a small 10G. This large Mopani measures approximately 13 inches long and 8 inches wide. The height is 3 inches at one end, about 4 inches in the middle and peaks up to 8 inches at the other end. A thorn is the outer remnant of a branch. The mandrel is about 3 inches in diameter and has a hole in the center that leads to a "cave". The cave is also accessible from the front. In front of the cave it is about 4 inches long, 5 inches deep and 3 inches high, the perfect place for my measles to hide. The "Log" weighs 10 pounds. This part doesn't look like the picture (my little one does). It looks more like a tree trunk, but very gnarled, with natural indentations and places to attach plants. It is smooth and light on top, dark and rough on the bottom. I could grind some of the sharp edges in the cave. In general, a very bright detail. I'm glad it's different from my little Mopani because I want each tank to have its own character.
