Review on πŸ”§ Efficient AUTOOL Auto Ranging Multimeter: Pocket-Sized 4000 Counts Digital Voltmeter Ammeter Tester by Brandon Kraemer

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great hobby multimeter

Pros: Compact multimeter, wiring and test leads are hidden inside the case when not in use. I checked the DC voltage readings and compared them to my $200 Fluke meter and the results were within 0.02V when reading 20 volt lithium batteries so I would say this meter is accurate. I'll check 480VAC if I get a chance at work. I'm skeptical about high voltages with inexpensive multimeters. I wish there was a backlit Inglo screen for viewing in low light conditions. I would be willing to pay a little more for the backlight. Cons: The test probes and wires are so small that I have a feeling the wiring will snap soon, especially since I really need time to fold it neatly back into the case. Probes and wires must be removed or the case will not close.

Pros
  • Highly rated by testers for support and durability
Cons
  • Not as thick as others
