Review on Optimized Surface Skimmers for Aquariums: Black Hole Skimmers by Tammy Harris

I rarely write reviews but I think this product definitely deserves one. The surface of my 75 gallon planted tank has always been dirty. I've tried many other skimmers, even 2 at a time, and nothing worked. They are constantly clogged, making them unusable. Worse, I often had to rescue shrimp, snails, and even fish that had been sucked into wide open waters. This one I installed on a Marineland 1200 Powerhead made the entire surface of a 4ft tank crystal clear in minutes. The included guppy guard prevents livestock from being sucked in and also allows the air intake to rotate smoothly, preventing clogging even from floating plants. This skimmer is amazing!
