Good writers. The carbide doesn't adhere with the precision I used before, instead marking the metal perfectly. It's great to mark your tools to prove ownership. Having my signal on my sockets, wrenches etc has prevented many instruments from growing wings and flying away! The magnetic end comes in handy for finding the occasional nut or bolt that invariably tries to deviate from the process!
