I fell in love with this heater the moment I saw it. My house is mid-century (circa 1951) and I accept anything mid-century. Unfortunately, its charm can't make up for its performance. First he struggles to get rid of the cold in my tiny (8ft 5ft) bathroom. I got tired of waiting for the bathroom to heat up so I could take a reasonably comfortable shower after my little buddy ran for 30 minutes. Second, there is no thermostat. It has 2 fan speeds and a timer (your choice... 1, 2, 3 hours). And finally, the noise of the fan is annoying, because to get the thermal benefit, it has to be very close, like a tiny airplane humming next to you. I would happily pay $10 more to have better features in my fan. if only he could keep the charming design. It's just not worth keeping the fan on when it's struggling to do the same job as an uglier heater for less money. Stick to the less welcoming option if you really want a little more warmth.
