For the price of a bottle of gas I bought this mass air flow meter and installed it in 30 minutes. Freewheel Gear Shaking - GONE! Idiot Gearbox Dashboard Light - PASSED! But if you have transmission problems like I had with my 2002 BMW 330xi - for the money - this is a great and economical solution. A note. The device had 3 "male" type connectors, while the original sensor it replaced had 3 "flat or bayonet" type connectors. It took a little fiddling, but in the end it fit and works perfectly! Don't forget to change the air filter at the same time as the MAF sensor, I read that removing the stupid transmission light bulb is very important! Well done (as far as I can tell) MostPlus!
