At least for me it works better than $150-$200 MAF sensors. E46 fuel match average 0 + - 3. Specification with each vehicle should be safe within parameters -+ 10 in each direction. Anything that oscillates between 12, 28, 21 over time is most likely giving an engine code. There is air in the system and if the engine whistles and revs, that's definitely something to watch out for.

I bought this item thinking my BMW X5 needed a new one but I ended up returning it because like my truck I no longer use it was originally in good condition. Overall this item was great. Excellent quality and at a very reasonable price. Going directly to the dealer can be expensive. I was happy with my purchase, unfortunately I had to return it. But I definitely recommend it.

Ideal for 2001 BMW 330i (E46). The Check Engine display has been fixed and the car runs smoothly again. Time will tell if this is permanent. Update: Car has started throwing poverty codes again - real-time data indicated MAF was reducing airflow. Tried the more expensive Delphi and got the same. Borrowed a regular unit from another BMW and voila! - no codes. The engine management of these cars is very picky. However, the seller accepted the return without any problems.
