Nice but not for long.
If you could nest one inside the other to get one long strand it wouldn't matter, but the fact that all the strands have to be individually plugged into a socket makes them impractical for most decorating purposes. We wanted to use them on our gazebo but one strand isn't enough and we don't want to use costly outdoor sockets if we can avoid it.
