They work well but are very sensitive to higher humidity. You'll easily read 99% if it's not that high, so I don't recommend using it near glass or other surfaces where water will condense. I was planning on using one mounted on a glass lid in my reptile tank, it read erroneously 99% but when I moved it to the center of the tank on top of a log it dropped to 75%. Since I can't stick it on the aquarium wall or leave it on anything where my animals go, it's not very useful for this app. However, if you plan to use them in an open environment with nothing behind them, this works fine. I have used the other to monitor my tropical plant terrarium where it is unobstructed and correctly reading the correct humidity and temperature. I definitely recommend moving it to where you intend to use it to make sure you're getting the right readings.
