Works well. They were all about 5/6 points lower (low). Not bad for the price. You can't calibrate them, but you can check their accuracy and use +/- to adjust them. All readings arrived with an accuracy of 1-2 degrees and 1-2 percent humidity from each other. I held one in my hand and the moisture in my hand made the hygrometer jump 5 percent. I let him sit for ten minutes and he went back to normal. I've used them in low (30 percent) and high (75 percent) humidity and they've stayed accurate. Compared to a full size digital hygrometer/thermometer which is known to be accurate, they were spot on. I was impressed. This is what you need for rising dry foods.

They work well but are very sensitive to higher humidity. You'll easily read 99% if it's not that high, so I don't recommend using it near glass or other surfaces where water will condense.
