I have been wearing a special mouthguard for many years and recently it broke. Afraid of spending a few hundred dollars installing a new one, I tried these ProDental guards. They were very easy to put on. Very simple: - Boil some water (and remove the pan from the heat) - Lower the drip tray for about 15 seconds or if you see the edges start to curl - Lightly chill on a pan for about 10 seconds damp paper towel (surprised that it cooled so quickly) - put it in your mouth (top) - suck out all the air - (create a vacuum in your mouth) - push the shield into your mouth with your tongue - at the same time with your fingers from the outside pressing your mouth to form a protective cover around your mouth - remove the protective cover and drop it into a bowl of cold water to aid in the installation of the cover. - Ready. Also, I didn't have to trim the guard at all. The protector shrinks a little when hitting hot water, so maybe try without cutting it first.
